Putting on the Glitz!
Yes, we have already survived the Prom! It was a lovely day and about 70 degrees. This is my favorite photo of the night, my daughter Macy with her brother Kyle. She is in her beautiful dress, while he is modeling his North Carolina blue to bring good luck to his favorite team.
This is the look you get when you are pushing your luck behind the camera!!
Here's a close up of the back of her dress....I like the bling!
Macy with her date, Reid. Notice the matching yellow.
Some of the girls admiring their corsages.
And last, but not least, the family. Kyle, my husband Mark, Macy and me.

you have a beautiful family...your daughter looks so pretty in her dress...i hope she had a wonderful time at her prom!!!
ReplyDeleteAahh to be that age again! Your daughter looks beautiful and so happy! And so does your family! That dress is gorgeous. It's so important to have the right dress on such an occasion. Oh to go back to that time that you had 'worries' of that kaliber. You must have thought something like: where is my little baby, because I just happened to know that life with children just goes too fast.
ReplyDeleteOh Kana, your daughter is gorgeous! She has a smile that would light up any room...it's your smile. (Of course, your son has that smile, too) Her dress was beautiful, especially the back. It's fun to get all dressed up for a special occasion. Looking at the background in the pictures-everything is so green there! We're just starting, slowly but surely.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Easter!
She looks beautiful...
ReplyDeleteHer dress is gorgeous, love the color!
