Ramblings about a photograph...

This postcard arrived in the mail to remind us of Spiritual Emphasis week at my children's school. I read the schedule of speakers on the back and was about to recycle the postcard, when I turned it over and something caught my eye. I thought the hats looked familiar and then I realized that this is the staircase leading from the garage into the back door of my house. I had no knowledge that this photo existed. When my daughter arrived home from school, she informed me that she had taken this photo in her photography class. It is one of her favorite photos and unbeknownest to her, it was selected for this year's Spriritual Emphasis posters and post cards!! What an honor for Macy. She is becoming quite the photographer.
Hope you are having a restful Sunday,
Kana

  2. What a cool photo! Congrats to Macy for having it chosen for the theme! A good reminder to all of us too...that even though we try to wear many hats, only one will fit at any given moment. :)

  3. How cute, that she didn't even mention the picture was being used! A true artist, huh? More involved with the creating than what happens to the creation!
